Dedicated to preserving the fine art of handwriting
The fine art of handwriting has been revered through the ages. Scribes used to carefully craft the illuminated books of centuries past, long before the invention of the printing press. Even after the printing press came into common use, people still recognized the power of the pen. Few people can view handwritten documents, such as the Declaration of Independence of the United States, without feelings of awe.
Today, handwriting is fast becoming a lost art. Emailing, texting and instant messaging have become the personal communication media of our increasingly busy days. However, discerning individuals still realize the captivating power of a beautifully penned, handwritten note. Whether it's a thank-you note, a letter of recommendation or a straight-from-the-heart love letter, taking pen to paper expresses ideas and emotions like no other.
Modern Quill Luxury Writing Instruments is dedicated to preserving the art of handwriting through its line of hand-crafted pens. The custom pens created at Modern Quill will help you send the finest in handwritten communications. Each pen is carefully crafted using the finest materials.
Our pen barrels are crafted of exotic woods from around the world, including African Blackwood, Cocobolo and Zebrawood. We also use other unusual materials, including acrylics, antler, horn, animal bone and marble. Many styles, shapes and sizes are available.
The fittings on each pen are equally distinctive. They're crafted from fine metals, including silver, gold, platinum, titanium, black titanium and chrome. Each pen specifies the materials used in its creation, as well as its date of creation.
